Goxel
Goxel is a open source voxel editor for creating voxel art on desktop computers and mobile devices. Goxel really came into prominence when it released versions for virtually all the most popular platforms available today. When you open the Goxel Editor for the first time you will see similarities with MagicaVoxel and Qubicle as it also supports common functionality such as editing, deleting and creating voxels. Below are some of the most powerful and noteworthy features of the Goxel Voxel Editor.

Full Featured Voxel Editor
Goxel ships with a full set of common tools for creating voxel art including the ability to add, delete and paint voxels. In addition to this are a variety of tools for speeding up the workflow including fuzzy select, move tools, rectangle selection, color picker and more.
Unlimited Scene Size
One feature that gives Goxel a head start among other popular voxel editors, is that it has no size limit. The latest stable version of MagicaVoxel goes up to 126x126x126 with support for combining these using the World editor. However Goxel automatically creates sparse matrices behind the scenes allowing you to make bigger voxel models without having to separate them into smaller pieces. This is a huge time saver when working with larger models.
Cross Platform Support
When working with voxel editors its important to make sure that it supports your system and machines. With Goxel this is a lot easier because it runs on virtually every platform available today. For computers there is a Windows, Mac and Linux version. Want to work on the go? No worries, as there is an app for both Android and iOS. This is massive for artists who have their own unique set of hardware and devices.
Layers
One of the most powerful features of Goxel is the ability to use layers similar to the way they are used in Photoshop to keep your independent voxel models separated from each other in a single scene.
Lots of Export Options
No matter what type of project you have, Goxel more than likely has an export option for you. Making a video game or app? Goxel supports the OBJ model type. Working with artists that use MagicaVoxel or Qubicle? Again Goxel supports exporting to these voxel editors.
Full Source Code
If you are looking to extend Goxel to your own liking, then you’ll be glad to know that not only is Goxel open source, but they have all the source code readily available on GitHub.
